Therefore, I thought it wouldn't be a problem when I asked my mom to send me a winter coat that I had left at home to use on my trip to Spain and Germany as well as a few other things that I had purchased. My dad swiftly mailed the package at the end of November. I had no worries about receiving it before I left on December 17. I was actually really excited because my mom told me that she had put a few Christmas surprises in there for me! Nevertheless, December 17 came and went and no box. I mean it was the holiday season so I was sure it would be waiting for me when I returned in the beginning of January...
Well, the first week back at school came and went and still no box. I was really starting to get worried especially considering the fact that I could only track the package up until the day it had left the United States (December 4). I am a strong believer in the power of positive thought, so I kept sending positive vibes out for my box and my mom did as well. Those positive thoughts must have worked because I finally was able to open my Christmas presents today! My poor box finally made its way home (very tattered and torn). I think it must have had quite an adventure of its own...
My box in the back of my car. We were on our way home.
Ready to be lifted out of my car and carried up to my apartment! So exciting!
This was the new tracking number that it was given. Did it spend some time in Russia?
Tracking number from the United States end in US. As you can see mine was crossed out...
Tattered and torn, but safely on my apartment floor.
The infamous coat that was supposed to keep me warm in Germany! ;)
A few more of my new treasures scattered on the floor!
The moldy fudge that I tried...I spit it directly back out though.
Thanks to my new clips my wall hanging can be displayed ever so beautifully!
